SWOT SLC - Deskew geometry
Added by Diego Pacheco Ferrada about 1 month ago
Hi!,
I'm currently processing SWOT SLC product to produce DEM's using Gamma, and following the support recommendation (https://www.gamma-rs.ch/uploads/media/2024-8_TR_SWOT_Support_in_GAMMA.pdf).
After importing into gamma format (par_SWOT_SLC) and apply the orbit propagation (ORB_prop_SLC), I apply the SLC_deskew method but it fails:
"ERROR p_interp(): time outside of range: 45312.07576 min: 44820.57546 max: 45312.07546"
To address this issue I have tried:
- Increasing the propagation time (extra) in ORB_prop_SLC, up to 100 s, but the error persists. The interpolation range (min/max) printed in the logs also increases when increasing the state vectors.
- Different areas (SLC files),and the deskew works, but in others it fails. I have notice that in mountainous areas it fails, but in flat areas it works. Does it has something to do with that?
- with different interpolation methods and orders, but no success.
If anyone has experience with this issue, I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to resolve it.
Cheers
PS: I'm using the python wrapper, but the command are pretty much the same. And is worth noting the same error pops up regardless the command is run the terminal or through the python wrapper.

SWOT SLC - Deskew geometry - Added by Philipp Malz about 1 month ago
Hi Diego,
sorry for the late reply: I have never used the command, but from the information in the message I would assume that there is a shift in the origin, since the out of range coordinate is exactly 30m to low (i.e. one pixel I guess?).
Maybe you solved it already...
cheers P
