Sentinel1 sub_phase issue

Added by Peter Friedl over 9 years ago

Hello everybody,

I`m using Sentinel 1 IW-SLC`s for tracking and I observed something which I cannot explain. In general tracking with Sentinel works very fine. Although in some very rare cases, tracking of two scenes fails, because there is a problem appearing during the deramping of the slave image. Sometimes when applying the phase ramp of the master to the co-registered (resampled) slave with the sub_phase command before tracking, the following warning message appears:
WARNING: unexpected end of interferogram 1 at line ...

Then when mosaicking the deramped slave SLC this error appears:
ERROR: reading SLC-1 burst 9

Then when it comes to the actual tracking, a bunch of warning messages appear, indicating that the parameter file of the deramped slave is missing and the tracking fails (of course).

Has somebody an explanation for this behavior? As I said, it`s not a general problem. It happens very rarely and follows (to me) no regularity.

Thanks’ for your suggestions,
Peter
