How to mitigate turbulent signals in interferograms when performing the SBAS process on Sentinel-1 SLCs?
Added by Jiaqing WANG 10 months ago
Hi everyone,
When I use the "mb" program to perform the SBAS processing on co-registered SLC data, I observe turbulent signals of varying degrees in some interferograms, as shown in the attached figure (20211231_20220112.diff0.png is the differential interferogram, and 20211231_20220112.diff.unw.atm_removed.png is the unwrapped phase after removing the tropospheric delay related to elevation.). I would like to know whether these signals will significantly degrade the accuracy of the time series deformation decomposition. If so, how can I mitigate the impact of these signals? I am aware that removing turbulent signals has always been a challenge; can anyone provide some methods for removing them?
I would be greatly appreciative if anyone could offer any assistance.
Wang

Hi Mr. 家庆 王,
I am sorry since I am a new user dont know much about this topic. But can you please update me how to generate these interferograms in picture format with the legend bar? did you use some external software or GAMMA do have commands for this? If yes can you please share the commands for this process. Good luck
best regards

Hi, TARIQASHRAF.
I think, that is merge with two images - interferogram and colorbar images.
For example, command for create colorbar is:
vis_colormap_bar.py hls.cm pdef_err.color_bar.png 0.000 0.001 -l "deformation rate estimation error [m/year]"
Input vis_colormap_bar.py in GAMMA command window for more information.
Ask for more, if needed.

Hi,
I use the following command to generate the two figures.
visdt_pwr.py test.unw test.mli 2000 -c -3.14 3.14 -d "atmospheric delay" -m rmg -b -u test.png
You need to replace "test.unw test.mli 2000" with your own file names and width.

Wang
